Cutie Pie

Over the weekend, I finished making the valentines! For the grands, I decided to make valentines with matching boxes! At first, I was a little intimidated making the boxes but I persevered and figured them out. I made the boxes with Stampin’ Up!’s Lots to Love Framelit Dies and my Big Shot.

Rather than put candy in the boxes, I tucked in a McDonald’s gift card for a treat for the children. I remember when my children were little, they loved getting a McDonald’s gift certificate that they could order and “buy” their own dinner. Little Sam will get a valentine book instead of a gift card because he only has two teeth so far!

The boxes measure 2″ x 4″ x 1″

I also made up a bunch of little valentines (2 of each) to send to them for them to play with. They could play a match game with them or pretend to give them to their animals or dolls.

Here are a few of the ones I made. I used Lawn Fawn stamps, black ink, and watercolor pencils.

All the valentines and gifts were mailed today. I’m so excited for everyone to receive them.
